How to Plan the Perfect Weekend Epcot Itinerary

Epcot is not your regular theme park. Walt Disney created it to be the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. It was meant to be where anyone could work, live, or share ideas. Even though the idea wasn't successful, Epcot is still a unique theme park.

It is famous for being big on education. You will love it if you are passionate about food, technology, travel, or cultures. If you plan on exploring Epcot, here is your Perfect Weekend itinerary.

1. Start With Test Track

You would be wise to arrive early before the wait time gets long. You could enjoy early entry privileges if you stay at certain Disney resort hotels. Once you get in, go straight to the left and check out Test Track.

This iconic attraction should be at the top of your Epcot Itinerary. It is one of the EPCOT attractions ranked as attractive to both kids and adults. Older kids will love designing cars that hit 65 miles per hour.

If you can, head over to Mission: SPACE when you are done with Test track. This attraction gives you an extreme g-force experience. However, there is a mild version for kids and adults that would love to start slow.

2. Worlds Celebration and Nature

This is another area you will want to explore. Heading towards the main entrance, you should find Spaceship Earth. The attraction is in the iconic ball. On the other side of the park is World Nature. It was previously known as The Land and The Seas.

You may have to wait in line if you want to get onto The Seas with Nemo &Friends attraction. It takes you to the SeaBase aquarium. Go to the entrance doors to the left of the building if you are unwilling to go on the ride. Kids will love Turtle Talk.

You can go to The Land pavilion when you are out of the aquarium. Soarin' Around the World is very interesting. You'll love the birds eye view of famous attractions around the world.

Living with the Land is a fun ride inside The Land. You will enjoy it if you are passionate about gardening.

3. Get Some Lunch

If you are on a tight budget, it would be best to skip a sit-down meal. Take advantage of the snack stands through the World Showcase and save some money. Alternatively, you can bring your own.

Lunch at the theme park allows you to sample foods from all over the world. Some snack stands are permanent structures. However, others are only open for festivals.

If you want to splurge on a table-service meal, consider visiting La Creperie de Paris in France. It has some delicious sweet crepes and savory galettes.

4. World Showcase

Most of your Epcot touring plan will be around the World Showcase lagoon. Whether you go right or left, you are set to have a good time. Starting in the Canada pavilion is just as exciting as starting in the Mexico pavilion.

You will find Le Cellier in the Canada pavilion. It is a heart-warming steakhouse that will blow your mind. If you enjoy Schitt's Creek, the 360-degree show narration by Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara will blow your mind.

If you are planning a Perfect Weekend getaway to Epcot, you are set to have a good time. Whether you are traveling alone or with kids, the theme park has a lot to offer. You'll always have something to do, from the fun rides to the delicious foods and educational attractions. Showing up early could save you a lot of time. It ensures that you don't need to wait in long lines.
