Our New Game Table: The Kingswood From BoxKing

Ever since my family started getting into board games, I knew we had to get a game table for my kid’s game room! We’ve been searching for years for a table that would be both functional, and fit the aesthetic of the game room! We even started looking into making one at home with my son’s wood working experience, until we found the perfect game table for our family… The Kingswood Gaming Table!

What Stood Out?:

When my family sat down to research game tables we knew there were a few non-negotiable in what we needed to go through with an upgrade of this size. We knew we wanted a vaulted play area with a table that could be covered for everyday use, as well as some aspect of customization around the accessories and how they attach to the table. With a play area of about 3’x5’, this table is perfect for all of our gaming needs!

Aesthetics play a big role in my family’s house, and especially in the game room! The Kingswood Gaming Table fits perfectly in the game room, and elevates the room to the level my family had always dreamed of!

Accessories:

As I mentioned, one of the things that got my family most excited about the Kingswood Gaming Table was the amount of accessories available. To start off, we tried out the arm rests, the playmat, and my personal favorite, the cup holders! 

The play mat is thicker than any other play mat I have tried, which I really enjoy because it makes it easier to move cards and other game components around. The arm rests are very comfortable and stay in place when using them without leaving behind a sticky residue. And the cup holders are great all around! I really like how the accessories can all be moved, and how the cup holder is removable, since we have small ramekins that fit the space perfectly to hold extra tokens and components while playing a game! 

The one upgrade that I would say is a must have, is the table topper! As somebody who is constantly working from home, the ability to have a game set up 24/7 while still being able to live my daily life above it is life changing! There is also a storage rack available to hold the toppers when they are not on the table. This is especially handy when we are playing a longer game that would take more than one session, allowing us to keep the toppers somewhere compact, and safe!

Why We Love It:

There are so many reasons why we love this table, but the biggest reason is functionality! Like I mentioned before, the ability to have a game set up UNDER the table allows us to work, eat, or even have another game set up above it! The option to add or takeaway accessories on an as needed basis is especially helpful, and they are super easy to add/take away from the table on a moment's notice. Lastly, the table top is super easy to remove and place on the table, and is mostly a one person job, allowing for an easy set up for game nights!

Overall, I am so happy my family was able to try out the Kingswood Gaming Table and I am so excited we were able to add this upgrade to my kid’s game room! With so many games, and this awesome new table, their room is the apex of what a game room can be!
