Nutty Peach Fruit Pizza Recipe

I was never really a fan of peaches until ironically enough I moved to the Peach State of Georgia. Once we discovered how juicy and flavorful peaches can be, my entire family fell in love with them and they were pretty around our house at all times. We were recently sent some products from the Grandma Hoerner's line of jarred pie fillings. Here is what we did with the Grandma Hoerner's Spiced Peach Pie Filling. Nutty Peach Fruit Pizza Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 large unflavored pizza crust
• 1 jar of Granda Hoerner's
• 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts
• powdered sugar

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  
2. Spoon the pie filling onto the pizza crust, stopping 1/2 inch from the edge of the pie.  
3. Scatter the walnuts over the pizza.  
4. Place on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 15 minutes, until the filling is bubbling and the crust is golden.  
5. Remove from the oven and allow the pizza to rest for 5 minutes.  
6. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the pie, cut, and serve.

Notes

I happened to purchase unflavored pizza dough from Publix. Many local grocery stores carry this but you have to make certain it is unflavored or your recipe will be seriously altered.
