We are a pretty connected family. With three kids all in the tween to teen age group we use a lot of internet. Add in all of the connected devices that we have slowly accumulated…everything from the TV and gaming system to the thermostat and lights…and you have a ton of internet connections coming out of my house.

Using the Norton Core

Setting up the Norton Core was easy. I downloaded an app to my phone, plugged in the router, and then followed the prompts from the app. All told we were up and running in less than 15 minutes. Performance was great on the Norton Core. Even with multiple devices streaming video and multiple kids playing online games, our network remained quick and responsive.

My husband spent about an hour setting up all of the parental controls. The hardest part about this was identifying which devices needed restrictions (there were 30 devices connecting to the internet in our house). Once he figured out what belonged to the kids, setup was quick. Personally, my favorite feature of the parental control is the ability to pause the internet. Kids not listening? Pause. Talk about making a point quick with the kids!
