DOUBLE CHOCOLATE M&M’S® BROWNIES
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 8 ounces coarsely chopped semi-sweet chocolate
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons all-purpose
- 4 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup Peppermint Holiday M&M’s
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt the butter and chopped chocolate in a small saucepan over a low flame. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl.
- Wisk both sugars into the melted chocolate. Then add the eggs one at a time, whisking as you go. Finally, wisk the vanilla into the batter.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold this mixture into the melted chocolate mixture. Once everything is combined, fold in the M&M’s.
- Grease an 8×8 baking pan, add the brownie mixture to the pan, and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Cool the brownies and eat or store in your favorite Glad Holiday Storage container.
