  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 ounces coarsely chopped semi-sweet chocolate
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons all-purpose
  • 4 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup Peppermint Holiday M&M’s

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt the butter and chopped chocolate in a small saucepan over a low flame. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl.
  3. Wisk both sugars into the melted chocolate. Then add the eggs one at a time, whisking as you go. Finally, wisk the vanilla into the batter.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold this mixture into the melted chocolate mixture. Once everything is combined, fold in the M&M’s.
  5. Grease an 8×8 baking pan, add the brownie mixture to the pan, and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  6. Cool the brownies and eat or store in your favorite Glad Holiday Storage container.
