Highlighting and contouring has been around in the makeup community for a long time especially highlighting. However, it is becoming more and more mainstream as people realize that they, too can do makeup. Every brand is coming out with their own highlighters and they are all SO beautiful. For the Holiday season It Cosmetics released a beautiful face palette that included a blush, bronzer, translucent setting powder, and a highlighter. This is what we are going to be talking about today!

Let me just start by saying that I absolutely love the concept of this product. It is an all in one face palette which makes it so convenient because you can complete your whole face look with just one palette versus having to take out multiple products. Let's get into each individual product in the palette.

Blush

The blush in this palette is a very nice pale pink shade. I think it is absolutely beautiful and gives a great natural color to the skin. I do believe that because this shade is a bit on the lighter side it may not work as well with deeper skin tones so I do think It Cosmetics should make different versions of this palette for each different skin tone.

Bronzer

The bronzer in this palette is also absolutely beautiful, it is a warmer tone bronzer but I like it because it is not TOO warm so you can still use it to create some dimension on the face. I think this bronzer is one that can be used on multiple skin tones and it looks great when applied.

Translucent Powder

I was a bit nervous about this translucent powder because I think translucent powders are iffy with me. You never know if it is going to be quality, if it is going to be cakey, or so many other factors. I can honestly say this one is pretty good. It's not my favorite powder to use but it is a pretty good one and I think to be included in the palette is a good idea. This sets my foundation and concealer and still feels right light and doesn't look cakey.

Je Nes Se Quoi Highlighter

This is my ALL TIME favorite part of this face palette. This highlighter is absolutely gorgeous. I love the fact that when this is applied it looks so natural and beautiful. It gives you a beautiful glow but it isn't too intense.

Overall I think this palette is truly beautiful and I think that you get a good amount of product for the price. You pay $42 for this palette at Ulta and I think getting four face products for that price is not too bad. I would recommend picking up this palette solely for the highlighter in itself but the rest of the palette is great as well!
