We are big fans of quick halloween crafts around here because our kids love having friends over to do some fun Halloween crafts to decorate their doors. We also love these as cool halloween crafts for school because they can be so easily made. If you are looking for halloween crafts for adults decorations or even some spooky halloween spider decorations, you've come the right place. You can make these webs from paper doilies but we chose actual crocheted doilies so that our banner will last for years to come.  We hope that you love this Halloween Doily Spider Web Banner.

Supplies

Directions

  1. Begin by cutting a length of ribbon that is as long as you want your banner.
  2. Fold each doily in half over the ribbon. Be sure to line them up evenly.
  3. Use some craft glue to secure the two halves together. Line them up evenly, dab on the glue, and press the edges together firmly.
  4. Repeat the process until the doilies run along the length of the ribbon.
  5. Embellish the doily spider webs by adding the fake spiders. Add a dab of glue to the back of each spider and press it to the “web.” Repeat until all of the webs have spiders on them. You can use as many or as little as you would like!
  6. To hang your spider web banner, just secure the ends of the ribbon with tape to a wall, banner, bookshelf, etc. Space the doilies out evenly once the banner is hung, as they may slide around when they are in transit.

We hope that you are inspired by this Halloween Doily Spider Web Banner. Happy crafting and happy Halloween!

I’m getting a big kick out of this banner. What an easy, inexpensive and effective idea!! I scream when I see a spider, even plastic ones give me the chills, but if I make it, I won’t be scared of it!!! But hopefully everyone else will be!!!
