Spiked Strawberry Lemonade

Some of my favorite recipes are made with strawberries. I love fresh strawberries but I love frozen strawberries just as much. This versatile berry is amazing sweet but it also brings a whole new dimension when strawberries are added to savory food. This time we came up with a fun spiked lemonade recipe or hard strawberry lemonade that features vodka lemonade strawberry ingredients. How fun is our boozy strawberry lemonade? • 2 oz berry vodka  OR  lemon vodka  OR  Tito’s vodka (Tito’s vodka strawberry lemonade, anyone? So easy to make this a Tito’s spiked strawberry lemonade) 
• 1 cup ice
• 1/2 cup lemonade
• 3-4 fresh strawberries

Directions

1. In a blender or drink maker combine ice, vodka, strawberries, and lemonade to make this strawberry lemonade alcoholic drink recipe.
2. Blend your boozy strawberry lemonade until well combined and ice is crushed.
3. Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy.

This recipe is perfect with fresh strawberries and just as good with frozen strawberries. When we run out of fresh berries, we stock up with tons of frozen berries from Target. Their house brands are AMAZING. We also go berry picking as a family several times per year which is one of our favorite things to do every spring.

I ended up freezing half of our strawberries and canning the other half of the strawberries every year. I love having some sort of strawberry something on hand like preserves, strawberry sauce, compote, ice cream, and more. If you like lemonade, especially fresh squeezed lemonade, you’ll love this drink. Make this non-alcoholic by substituting the alcohol for strawberry soda.
