How to Fix Broken or Weak Nails
How to Fix Broken or Weak Nails
If you are suffering from broken, weak, or fragile nails I am here to help you out. Our nails are made up of protein and keratin and they actually require a decent amount of care. If you just neglect them and never take care of them properly, they can become broken and weak.
Your nails can start to peel or become flaky when they are weak, they can also become discolored, get strange textures within them, and become very brittle. Well, I'm here to help. I am going to be giving you a few tips on how to strengthen your nails and have nice and healthy nails.
Moisturize
I know this seems a bit strange, like what does moisturizing have to do with your nails themselves? Well, the nails are not the part of your hands that you should be moisturizing, but it is actually your cuticles. It is important to keep your cuticles moisturized and healthy because this will aid in the health of your nails as they grow in. I highly recommend Aria Starr Beauty ORGANIC Argan Oil For Hair, Skin, Face, Nails, Cuticles & Beard.
Get a Nail Strengthener
There are all sorts of great nail strengtheners out there that will help to harden and strengthen your weak and brittle nails. It simply looks like a nice clear coat but does so much more. A couple that I would recommend are Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Instant Nail Hardener or Nailtek Intensive Therapy-2 Treatment for Soft Peeling Nails.
Take Biotin
Biotin is a vitamin that benefits the health of your hair, skin, and nails. This will help your nails to not only grow in length, but also to strengthen them so that they grow nice and beautifully.
Avoid Fake Nails
Fake nails, as beautiful as they may be can be very damaging to your nails. Especially if you have weak nails those type of things can make your nails very weak, brittle, and just damaged.
As much as you don't think it might, diet and exercise affects your entire body including your nails. Keeping your body healthy and happy will definitely aid in the health and strength of those nails. So shape up your diet into a healthier one and you will not believe the difference in your hair, skin, and nails.
Having weak and brittle nails is never fun, they're not attractive and they don't feel very good. Take these tips into account and get those nails nice and healthy so you can have beautiful hands.
