A Bad Moms Christmas Movie in Theaters 11.1.17
A Bad Moms Christmas is coming! Seriously, who didn’t absolutely love the first movie – Bad Moms? I assembled a group of girlfriends to watch it on opening weekend and we loved it. We collectively said after watching it that we had never laughed so hard and consistently throughout a movie – ever. It was hilarious and so relatable as all of us are moms. We hope that you love our A Bad Moms Christmas Movie in Theaters 11.1.17 post.

A Visit to A Bad Moms Christmas Movie Set
When I heard the announcement that Bad Moms Christmas was being filmed in Atlanta (where I live) I was thrilled to hear that all the original main characters were doing a second movie. Now, you can only imagine how excited I was when I got a call from Stacie Connerty of Divine Lifestyle offering me the opportunity to take her place as an extra for Bad Moms Christmas because she had a conflict. I literally screamed “YES” and jumped with glee!
That’s right, I was an extra on the set of Bad Moms Christmas along with a few other bloggers when it was filming in Atlanta at Lenox Mall earlier this year. We were also able to interview the stars of the movie – Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn.
We were asked to dress in winter attire for the movie (coats, boots, etc.) as the timeline for the film was Christmastime. Upon arrival, we were put through hair and makeup. All of us were a tiny bit nervous but very excited to witness the hilarity of the Bad Moms franchise.
Let me just say that Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn are all very friendly and were happy to answer any and all questions we had about Bad Moms Christmas and their participation in it.
When asked about the addition of the characters’ moms in the new movie and how they felt about that new dimension, Kristen Bell (Kiki) replied “I think it’s made my character more dimensional because you saw in the first movie the journey we took where we are taking charge of our lives and in Bad Moms Christmas we are knocked a few pegs down when our mothers come to visit.”
Kathryn Hahn’s (Carla) response was “Yes, it was like there was only one person in the world that would make Carla feel small and that would be her mother. So, it was kind of perfect that it ends up being Susan Sarandon.”
Spoiler alert: Carla (Kathryn Hahn) gets some action in this movie. LOL!
Mila Kunis explained the difference between Bad Moms and Bad Moms Christmas with “Adding the mothers. Adding the mothers definitely created an entirely different layer with each one of our characters and the dynamics of each other.”
From the few scenes that I saw during filming, I got a sense that this movie could surpass the hilarity of the first movie. The characters were on point with their comedic timing and add in the Christmas element and their moms swooping in to visit is a perfect comedy combination. I. Can't. Wait. November 1st cannot get here fast enough!
About A Bad Moms Christmas Movie
A BAD MOMS CHRISTMAS follows three under-appreciated and over-burdened women as they rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. And if creating the perfect holiday for their families wasn’t hard enough, they have to do all of that while hosting and entertaining their own mothers. By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers.
