It that time of year again that is quickly becoming my favorite time of year. Back-to-school. My kids are excited. I am excited. And we need to shop.
We need clothes. We need backpacks. Lunch boxes. We definitely need school supplies.
Dollar General is the perfect place to go! Back to School Saving from Dollar General is one of the main reasons we shop there. You can save a lot of money on both back to school and back to campus shopping. They offer a wide range of items available at everyday low prices making checking things off of your back to school list a breeze.
For us this year, all three kids needed new backpacks. Last year they were able to use their backpacks again. I loved that we could get two years out of the same backpack but this year it was definitely time to get another backpack for each child.
I am also a huge advocate of completing each teachers wish list. Every item them ask for, we will purchase at least one of for the classroom.
Things like:
Clorox Wipes
Kleenex
Ziploc bags
Hand sanitizer
Dry erase markers
Paper
Pencils
Markers
Crayons
Paper plates and cups
And more. Whatever they ask for, we try to get it and with three kids, I need to save as much money as possible while still helping out the classroom.
Dollar General helps me help out in the classroom more.

Dollar General ranks among the largest retailers of top-quality brands made by America's most-trusted manufacturers, such as Procter & Gamble, Kimberly Clark, Unilever, Kellogg's, General Mills and Nabisco.
We have a Dollar General not far from my house. I like the prices, and it’s usually stocked well, but they don’t really run the AC and it’s been in the 90’s here most of the summer. I might run in to grab one or two things, but they keep it so uncomfortably hot in there that I won’t go up and down the aisles like I would if the store was cooler. I’d rather spend my time and money somewhere that I’m not sweating and feeling miserable.
I’m sure all stores are different, so those of you who get to shop in comfortable, air conditioned Dollar General Stores, I’m envious of you!
I really like Dollar General- besides school things, they have terrific sales at end of season. I got a bunch of garden things there for next year- decorations for hardly anything. I love you can go in with very little money and come out with so much!
