IPSY Glam Bag Reveal October 2015
IPSY Glam Bag Reveal October 2015 It's that time of the month again! That's right, I'm referring to Ipsy time! If you haven't seen my posts in the past and you're wondering just what this Ipsy is that...
I am without a doubt a huge makeup junkie. I love to try out new products all the time and I will try anything whether that be from the drugstore or high-end. You can find really great products and really not so great products at both places and just because something is expensive does not mean that it is great quality. I love to save a bit of cash and have some great hits at the drugstore. Today I am going to be talking about those cruelty free drugstore makeup brands, hypoallergenic drugstore makeup and non toxic drugstore makeup, that's right…we're getting into my favorite makeup products that you can find at your local drugstores! We hope that you love these Affordable Drugstore Makeup Must Haves.
Starting with my personal favorite drugstore foundation, I have one that I personally think is the absolute best that you can find at the drugstore and it's also more affordable than a lot of other brands. My favorite is the Maybelline Fit Me Poreless foundation. They offer this foundation in two finishes, Dewy + Smooth as well as Matte + Poreless, there is a range of shades to fit all skin tones and I just find that this foundation is absolutely flawless on the skin. Because I do have a bit of drier skin I go for the Dewy + Smooth finish usually but I have also tested out the Matte + Poreless and that one provides just as good results.
For my all time favorite concealer we are turning to Maybelline again. The Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind Concealer is absolutely amazing. It really does a great job of providing my face a flawless look and it is GREAT at covering up those dark under eye circles that I know I personally hate and I'm sure all of you do too.
When it comes to eye shadow from the drugstore without a doubt, hands down I have to say Wet n Wild are the best eye shadows on the market. Their trios and palettes are so buttery and pigmented not to mention they are extremely affordable. These are definitely a winner in my book.
For blush I have to also give it Wet n Wild. The Wet n Wild blushes are extremely pigmented and just go onto the face flawlessly. They only have a few shades to choose from them but the ones that they do offer are absolutely gorgeous.
When it comes to bronzer and drugstore cruelty free makeup, I don't think that ANY brand nearly compares to Physician's Formula. Physician's Formula bronzers are absolutely beautiful and they just blend on the face flawlessly and they work with several different skin tones, definitely something you want to check out. They are a great hypoallergenic drugstore makeup.
My personal favorite highlighter from the drugstore comes from the brand E.L.F. The e.l.f. Illuminating Palette is absolutely amazing and it offers a range of different colors of highlight.
When it comes to brows and non toxic drugstore makeup, my all time favorite brow pencil comes from the drugstore and it is from the brand NYX. The NYX Micro Brow Pencil is so easy to use and it get yours brows looking absolutely great!
My all time favorite drugstore cruelty free makeup and mascara comes from Loreal. The L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara in Carbon Black is amazing because it not only adds length to my lashes but all also adds volume. It is very affordable and keeps my lashes looking awesome.
Finally, for lip products I love Colourpop lip products the most. I cheated a bit on this one because it is not actually a brand that you can find at your local drugstores, it is an online only brand but their products are absolutely amazing and they are definitely drugstore prices. They have everything ranging from lip liners to lip sticks, lip glosses, liquid lipsticks, they got it all and they are definitely my favorite.
These are my personal favorite products from all of the categories that you would need to create a full face of makeup including non toxic drugstore makeup and drugstore cruelty free makeup. I hope that you all check out some of these products and enjoy them as much as I have, let me know what some of your personal favorites and must haves are!

I definitely mix specialty with drugstore makeup faves. It’s about the RESULTS for me in the end, not so much the name of the brand but how well it performs, particularly when it comes to concealer as I have acne prone skin.
I’m not opposed to buying makeup in drugstores. I rarely do but I do believe there are some great finds!
Confession – I buy all my makeup at the drugstore or target or walmart! Although I do buy Bare Minerals foundation. The brands you mentioned are faves of mine too, but I haven’t tried those specific products. Thanks for sharing your list!
I have not bought makeup at a drugstore in years but I sure am seeing some brands I have tried and loved! NYX and ColorPop to name two! Those eyeshadows are so pretty! Love the bright colors!
I am not really into makeup but I have a few pieces. I do buy some makeup in drugstores, there are lots of good products there.
L’Oreal and Colourpop are two of my favorite brands. Maybelline makes lovely products as well. These are really good choices for make-up!
These are also my favorite. These give awesome results!
What great items! I don’t have much make up but what I do have I get from the drug store. I can’t be bothered to spend an arm and a leg. I’ll give some of these a try.
I’ve used wet n wild for years. It’s a trusty old brand that I can’t let go of.
Wow, I had forgotten about some of these brands. I don’t use a ton of makeup but always end up with the same brands.
I love playing with different kinds of makeup and finding the ones I really love. I do have a few that are higher end but for the most part, I use drugstore finds.

I recently went back to drugstore makeup to save some money. The challenge was I use cruelty free products. You can imagine my surprise to find ELF is 100% cruelty free, as well as, some Wet-N-Wild products. This post reassures there is quality makeup out there that doesn’t break the bank,. 🙂
I am all about drug store makeup. I think my fancy makeup is only because of Ipsy.
I would like to try those Colourpop lip products. I like the packaging, so cute. I’ll check them out the next time we hit the store.
I dont wear make up often bit these products you featured here are awesome. Just goes to show we really don’t need those big name brands to achieve a nice look.
