The love of food was what put a roof over our heads and clothes on our body. It was our lifeblood. My dad was a baker back in the early-to-mid 80’s. He and his buddy started a bakery together, and at first, they focused on cheesecakes. They hustled those cakes any place they could. I remember my dad selling them out of the back of his car in a parking lot.
That hustle paid off though. That bakery became something. And I grew up on its food.

I loved going to the bakery as a kid. There was a big room full of pallets of boxes. To a kid, that room was a giant maze full of adventure. There was a test kitchen as well. I liked going there because they always had something new coming out of the oven. Naturally, I sampled.
That bakery taught me about the love of food. It taught me about the special magic that can happen when the right ingredients are combined in just the right way. That bakery was truly a magical place.
That’s why I like Entenmann’s®. They are a bakery that has been going for better than a hundred years, and to this day they stay true to the standards that were put in place by William Entenmann. On Loving Chocolate

I also grew up with food as love and that has lasted with me well into the present. My family and I regularly get together to share a meal over conversation. The kids get to hang out with their cousins and the adults get some quality time. I really would love to do this even more often. I am working on it.
One of my favorite things is to have dessert, and for me, it has to be chocolate. Chocolate is 100% the way to my heart. No lie. I love chocolate that much. I consider myself an equal opportunity chocolate lover as I will try pretty much anything. My current favorite is dark chocolate sea salt caramels. I am particularly fond of anything bite-sized.
We were absolutely thrilled to try out the new Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Chocolate Party Cakes and let me tell you, they are so good.

Entenmann's® has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. Every single Sunday would we either get doughnuts or an Entenmann’s® Crumb Cake. Boy, did I ever look forward to Sundays growing up because I loved their crumb cake. I still do!
I firmly believe that there is always something worth celebrating and so does Entenmann’s® Little Bites®. They have just introduced their newest fun flavor: Chocolate Party Cakes! Overflowing with flavor to treat the taste buds of all chocolate lovers, these new Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Chocolate Party Cakes are complete with rainbow sprinkles, similar to the fan-favorite original golden Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Party Cakes. Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Chocolate Party Cakes are available nationwide for a limited time only from now until 8/26/17.

To this day, I still love to eat Entenmann's® with my family. My kids get to pick their favorite snack each week at the grocery store and all three of them pick Little Bites®. All three kids also hide their Little Bites® from my husband because he loves them just as much as the kids.
Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Chocolate Party Cakes Ice Cream Bites Recipe
This is so simple to make and they were such a hit with the kids that we've already made them twice. They really are that good. We hope that you enjoyed this Make Any Day A Party with Entenmann’s Little Bites Chocolate Party Cakes post.
Ingredients
- Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Chocolate Party Cakes
- Dark Chocolate
- Chocolate Ice Cream
- Cream
- Butter
- Heavy Whipping Cream
- Powdered Sugar
- Vanilla
- Cookie Cutter
Directions
- Cut 8-10 Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Chocolate Party Cakes in half and place to the side.
- Use a small scoop for the chocolate ice cream and place it on wax paper. Quickly scoop out as many cakes as you have cut in half. Place another piece of wax paper on top and press down to form a patty a little larger than your cakes.
- Peel wax paper back and place each patty on one half on the cake. Then top with the other cake.
- Follow this recipe to make chocolate ganache and then drizzle each cake with a generous tablespoon of your ganache once it has cooled slightly. Let them cool completely.
- Make our favorite whipped cream recipe and add an oversized teaspoon of whipped cream to each cake.
- Top with sprinkles, if desired and serve immediately.

We love all the different Entenmann’s baked goods but this new edition looks amazing and so does that ice cream creation. It is a testament to Entenmann’s that a bakers daughter loves them.

My girls would go crazy for the ice cream sandwiches. We grew up on Entenmann’s danish and donuts but we don’t really keep that kind of stuff in the house these days. So when we do have it in the house, the girls really appreciate it. I’ll have to get some of these while they are available.
