We recently went shopping at Walmart to grab some Alexia products for our upcoming party. We love throwing parties and this time we are working on our annual Game Day for the Gourmet party which is also a recurring series on this blog. Make certain to check out some of our other recipes in the Game Day for the Gourmet series as well.
We wanted to offer a new twist on some of our old favorites so we bought fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings. Then we thought of some ways to make them even better.
OUR PARTY PLAN
We decided to stick with our favorite football theme for our midday party. Since we weren't serving a meal, we decided to have heavy appetizers and snacks. We made the Crispy Onion Rings and came up with a spicy, steakhouse onion ring sauce, Truffle Parmesan fries with fresh Rosemary and Spicy Sweet Potato Bison Cheese Fries.
We made these adorable football wine glasses with white washi tape and then served craft beer in our favorite red Solo cups.
We used some old jerseys and team shirts in our favorite team's colors to decorate the table. Then we put the food on it. Look how festive it looks!
