Places to Go, People to See – Orlando Here We Come!
Places to Go, People to See – Orlando Here We Come!
Orlando is a favorite destination of my family. We travel there three to four times a year because it is about a six hour drive (ten if you add the bathroom and snack breaks). We stay in all different types of places and visit all kinds of destination spots. We often times let our kids do the picking.
Early Friday evening, my 7-year old son and I will board a flight to Orlando. Thanks to Team Mom and the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, we have been invited, along with several others bloggers and their kids to check out all that Orlando has to offer.
My son is beyond excited and even looking forward to the plane trip. This is our first mom/son trip plus he just turned seven which makes it even more exciting. The fact that he gets to take a birthday trip with his mom to some of his favorite places and some of the places that he has been wanting to go has kept him from sleeping several nights this week.
The truth is that his mom is pretty excited too. I rarely get the opportunity to spend time alone with my son and I have never gotten this many days alone with him except when he was a baby.
Our time will be short and our itinerary is packed but I am pretty certain that this will a trip that my son will not soon forget.
Places we will be visiting:
Disney's Hollywood Studios
Gatorland
Seaworld
Universal Studios Orlando
Universal Studios Citywalk
