Fall Fashion on a Budget Stunning Boots Under $50
Look for classic styles in Every Season with fall boots under $50 I love boots. I pretty much end up buying a pair every fall and I buy a pair for my girls as...
Fall is a great time to dress fashionably. Boots, scarves, leggings, and boots are all pieces that every woman's Fall wardrobe needs, but each year the specifics of those basics changes. Here's what's hot for Fall.
A printed sweater, in whatever size, shape, or style, makes a great impact. It can be worn with a cute pair of skinny jeans and flats, or paired with a pencil skirt, tights, and kitten heels to make it versatile for a fun, flirty, casual, professional, or sophisticated look. It's all in how you style it!
You need a good pair of leggings for fall, and that doesn't mean a pair of tights. Leggings are thicker than tights and look good under skirts, with tunics, and with a variety of boots, flats, and heels. Get a nice, thick, warm pair that are durable to last through multiple washes because you'll want to wear them often as a Fall staple. A neutral pair in black, brown, or cream is also recommended so they can be worn with many outfits.
A walking boot is another must-have for fall. This can come in a variety of shapes, sizes, styles, and colors, but definitely choose one that matches the majority of pieces in your closet, can be paired with jeans or leggings, and that is comfortable for you to wear on a long walk in a corn maze or a troll around the mall looking for holiday gifts and décor. A good boot will be able to transition into Winter easily, s make your choice wisely.
The weather is cooling down, but the fashions are heating up and nothing is hotter than a great mini dress- especially a mini-dress in a floral or lace print or fabric. If that seems counterproductive to wearing warmer clothing, think again. Throw on a pair of colored tights, heeled boots, a cardigan, and a light scarf for a chic layered look that can easily change from a day at the office to a night out with friends depending on the accessories you choose to use.
For Fall you don't need a very heavy scarf, especially if you are going with layered looks. Choose a lighter scarf that has a cute print or that can be easily tied to make different looks for your different outfits. This type of scarf will be thicker than a summer scarf, but not as thick as a knitted winter scarf and it will be made in a lightweight fabric that's easy to style.
One last note- royal blue is one of the “in” colors for Fall 2014, and just about any shade will do because it's being used as a neutral. If you can find one of the above pieces in that color, your Fall fashion wardrobe will definitely be kicked up a notch. Also, many of the pieces can be found at a bargain in thrift shops or discount stores, so shop around for unique finds to add a bit of a “quirky” or different touch to your style.
