Rock Your Vacation in Kissimmee, Florida
Experience Kissimmee invited me on an all-expenses paid press trip to Kissimmee Florida for the #RockYourVacation FAM Tour. All opinions are my own.
I am headed to sunny Orlando to meet up with the folks from Kissimmee Florida. We have a packed scheduled and are doing tons of fun things in the Kissimmee area! If you read this blog, then you know that we are down in Florida a lot. It is so close to Atlanta that we make the drive several times each year. Sometimes we visit theme parks and other times we relax at our hotel or vacation rental.
LODGING
During the trip we will be spending two nights at VillaDirect Vacation Homes and then two more nights at Global Resort Homes. You may remember that we stayed at Global Resorts a few years ago. Click that link to see my review of Windsor Hills.
EVENTS AND DINING
Poshable Events is hosting a welcome party for us and the winners of #RockYourVacation ~ this will be our first event to kick off the FAM Tour.
We are dining tonight at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney and then I might just shop a little. I cannot resist all of the stores in Downtown Disney.
We will also be dining at Medieval Times and seeing their show. I will have to let you know which team we root for!
Chef Linda of Orlando Vacation Chef will be preparing food at our villa one night which I expect will be amazing.
ACTIVITIES
The next day we are visiting Discovery Cove where will be swimming with the dolphins and then off to SeaWorld where we will experience an underwater adventure.
Friday we will head to Wild Florida. I have never been there so I am really looking forward to it.
On our last day, we will be having breakfast at the Gaylord Palms and then spending a few of hours at the Relache Spa. I love spas and good food so this will be perfect.
We will head to Gatorland the next day where we might just get to wrestle alligators and zipline over them as well.
I have always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon so this week at the crack of dawn, we will be doing that with Orlando Balloon Adventures.

What a fun trip you have planned. I want to go on the hot air balloon ride. (I’ll skip wrestling with the alligators)
The events and dining are amazing I bet. The aligators look interesting. And I would have to go to deaworld since we as a family have never been. Looks like a fun place to explore.
I have not been to Kissimmee for 20 years this month. I would love to go back there someday. I love that there are so many things to do and the weather is generally great. Have a great trip and I will look forward to coming back to your blog to hear about all of the festivities.

Sounds like you have quite an adventure planned. It’s been many years since I’ve been to Kissimmee Florida, at least twenty or more, but I would love to go back again for a vacation one day. Hopefully we will be able to visit Discovery Cove and take a hot air balloon ride next time we visit. Have fun and stay safe!

We love visiting Florida! We go every year to Disney World, but last year we did “everything else” Gatorland was our favorite! You’ll have a blast there, it’s just such a special place!
