Tips to Sleep Better
Tips to Sleep Better I have been an off and on insomniac for years. I have had three kids, work odd hours and I write. I am a night owl. I definitely have sleep...
Thanksgiving is a time for family bonding and spending time together. One great way to do this is to watch Thanksgiving movies. You have many that you can choose from so you can be sure that everyone watching will enjoy the show.
In A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Charlie Brown and the gang have a great family-friendly movie for every holiday. This is a movie you can watch with people of all ages and everyone is sure to enjoy it. Linus, Woodstock and Snoopy work to help Charlie host a great Thanksgiving meal for them, a well as Peppermint Patty and her friends, who invite themselves over.
Home for the Holidays is a classic Thanksgiving film that is perfect for family viewing with its mix of drama and comedy. Just before Thanksgiving, Claudia Larson, gets terrible news before heading to her parents home in Baltimore for the holidays. She is concerned with her teenage daughter who stayed at home and what happened with her younger brother Tommy who is no longer with his boyfriend. Many disasters occur and it happens in a dramedy fashion.
Dutch was not well-received by the critics, but it has become a Thanksgiving classic. Comedy star Ed O'Neill tries to make his girlfriend happy for the holidays. This leads to a road trip to pick up her son from boarding school. Anything that can go wrong on a road trip does go wrong, but it is done in a comedic fashion. This movie is appropriate for all ages.
Few movies show the true meaning of family like The Blind Side. Sandra Bullock plays a mother who takes in a teenage boy who is homeless. She makes him part of the family and treats him like she treats her other children. The teen eventually makes it into the NFL. There is a scene in the movie in which the family is enjoying their Thanksgiving meal and this sets the tone for the rest of the movie.
Planes, Trains And Automobiles is a Thanksgiving classic that is funny and actually has some emotional depth. The main character is just trying to get home to celebrate Thanksgiving with this family. Another man tags along and this makes for a rather odd duo, as the main character is clean cut and serious and his surprise travel companion is anything but. This results in a lot of funny scenes and makes it very entertaining.
i love PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES. I used to watch it with my mom every year!
These are all great movies! I love Blindside. We didnt get a chance to watch any movies this year. My son watched football and then we played some board/card games, which was a lot of fun.
