Nikon D3100 14.2MP Digital SLR Camera
If you read this blog, then you know that I love taking pictures. Mostly of my children but I still really love to take them. I am by no means an expert when it comes to my camera but I do manage to teach myself something new on almost a weekly basis.
The thing is, my pictures started getting better once I got a DSLR camera. I started learning about things like light, shutter speed and depth of field. I still have a lot to learn but I sure do enjoy doing it on my DSLR camera.

I am like you, I like to take pictures of my kids as I show them parts of our wonderful city Chicago or while we vacation. I have been taking pictures for 20 years and had always wanted a more sophisticated camera. Lately I’ve been interested in scenic pictures with the kids being the central focus. I love to find a great scene and off set the kids in the frame and click a great shot! Sometimes I can’t get the shot because of my cameras limited capabilities which really upsets me but usually try to move the direction of the camera in comparison to the sun. I would love the opportunity to own a camera like this so I can learn a lot more about photography and how to take awesome pictures!!
I forgot to include that I love to take pictures so I can hold on to the special moments of my families lives. Childremmn grow up so fast and time flies right on by us and when my memory starts to fail i will have pictures to remind me of all of the things we did! When I am long gone my kids can pass my scrapbooks along to their children and tell them all the great adventures we went on. Then they can make their own special albums!
I most like taking pictures of my son. He will be 4 in August. Keeping him in focus isn’t an easy task as he never slows down but fun none the less.
I like taking pictures of my twin girls. They will be one yeaer old in 3 days 😉

In addition to taking pictures of my kids I would be taking photos of food. I’m a food blogger, and I love playing with my camera and experimenting with new ways to get that perfect image.
I like to take pictures of birds, nature scenes, the ocean and mostly..my dog!
Love taking pictures of anything that catches my eye! You never know what will make a great photo. But if I had to choose I would pick Nature as my favorite thing to take pictures of.
I so desperately want a real camera and to learn how to use it! Top priority around here!
Like everyone I love to take photos of everything close to the heart, but if I had to select one it would be hands down letting my daughters ( 3 1/2 & 1 1/2) walk me around pointing to what they want a picture of. It is so fun to see what catches their eyes and how excited they get seeing it captured in the viewing screen. but I think their greatest excitement comes once they are printed and the 3 1/2 yo wants to send them to family (since we are a min of 1.500 miles apart) this is a vital means of staying connected with each other and the joys of life, even if just captured by a flower or favorite toy.
