I am sure you will have a ball! Disney World and Disneyland both have exciting events planned for kids of all ages. At Disney World you can indulge in Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party from September 1st to October 31st. At Disneyland you can indulge in Mickey’s Halloween Party! At both parks on selected nights from 7pm to midnight you can trick or treat or scare up some fun or have an amazing time at Mickey’s Spooktacular Celebration! Either way there is an abundance of fun to be experienced. Let’s explore the trick or treat fun for all ages at the Mickey Halloween party.

During select nights between September and November, from 7:00 PM until 12:00 AM, the Magic Kingdom®hosts Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. On those nights, the theme park becomes a masquerade party where anyone of any age may dress up as their favorite character and enjoy the festivities as they scavenge the theme park for treats. This unscary party is designed for those who want to celebrate the fun parts of the holiday but would rather not be exposed to the more macabre aspects. Of course, many of the regular rides and attractions at the theme park will be open during this time, but most will be appropriately decorated for the season.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event and allows you to avoid big Disney lines as the parks is only open to these tickets holders. If you buy your tickets in advance there are certain discounts so do your research in advance to see which nights presents the best discounts. Whether enjoying Mickeys “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade or indulging in the Happy HalloWishes or even the Villains Castle Show Disney does not disappoint and keeps it light without all the fright.

  • Special entertainment provided during the Halloween Party
  • Visitors will be treated to the complimentary Mickey Mouse Halloween Parade called “Boo-to-You” where they can celebrate with their favorite Disney characters. The parade starts with a theatrical entrance ride by the Headless Horseman and includes cast members of the Haunted Mansion
  • Disney characters and Disney villains will be in their own Halloween costumes during this special time.
  • Guests will be treated to a Halloween fireworks show called “Happy HalloWishes” where they can watch as the Disney villains trick or treat in the sky.
  • Certain areas of the Magic Kingdom will be transformed into the “Happy Haunted Hollows,” complete with thematic effects, special lighting and music to set the mood.

At Disneyland there are even special pass holder perks which allow you sweet treats up and down Main Street! What kind of perks? A special wristband which allows special access to the day’s party, movies and more. What could be better?     This would be an absolute blast to go to Magic Kingdom and wee Mickey’s Scary Halloween. What fun and the colors are so vibrant. I sure would love to take my son.
