LEGO Movie© Books from DK & LEGO Movie Release 6/17

The LEGO Movie© Books from DKMy family and got the chance to experience The LEGO Movie© with four DK books based on the box office sensation. My kids love reading and all three kids are enamored with LEGO. They were even more in love with LEGO after seeing the movie. LEGO became the top item on all three of their wish lists for birthdays and holiday.

Lucky for us parents, LEGO combined the ever popular toy with reading and came out with these super fun books. The moment that they arrived, the box was ripped open, the books were divided and everyone went off to play with/read their books.

LEGO LogoWe checked out the following titles:

When an ordinary LEGO® mini figure discovers he is the only one who can stop an evil LEGO tyrant from ending the world as he knows it, he embarks on an all-new, all-LEGO adventure. This fully illustrated guide to the upcoming The LEGO® Movie explores the characters and locations of this long-awaited film with profiles, location spreads, and behind-the-scenes information about how the movie was made. The LEGO® Movie: The Essential Guide would not be complete without fun and interesting facts and movie stills.

My son loved this book. He now knows everything that there is to know about the LEGO® Movie and walks around reciting facts constantly.

In The LEGO® Movie, an ordinary LEGO® minifigure discovers that he is the only one who can stop an evil LEGO tyrant from ending the world as he knows it. Ultimate Sticker Collection: The LEGO Movie features the minifigure heroes, vehicles, and locations of the movie, with more than 1000 stickers that can be reused again and again.

My youngest daughter took this book immediately and has not let anyone else see it since. She loves stickers and plays with this book every day.

I like any kind of books that get kids interested in reading. Just get them started and the rest of their life they will read.
