Several of my friends are pregnant or are having babies soon. Something about Spring and babies. And although I do get the occasional baby fever, I still enjoy living vicariously through others as they welcome their new bundles of joy!
One of my favorite things is getting those birth announcements in the mail. We already know that the baby has arrived but getting the actual picture always seems to make it official. Plus it reminds me to send a little something if I haven' t already.
I love opening up my mail and seeing something like this:
Who doesn't love a sweet, smiling face? I tend to keep birth announcements for years on my bulletin board in the kitchen. There is just something so positive and uplifting about seeing a face like that everyday!
My other love is photo books.I love compiling photo books for family and giving them as gifts. We have several books around our house.
That is one of the things that I am working on getting better about this Spring. As the Chief Memory Keeper of my household, I have been a little behind on getting professional pictures taken of my children and then doing something with the pictures once I have them.
My Spring Announcement is that I am getting it together when it comes to photos so you will be seeing a lot more pictures of my kids this year. Yay you!
I am having professional pictures taken of my children this year. I will also be organizing the pictures that I have and getting them in photo books or frames. I am also going to take another, more advanced digital photography class so I can take better pictures myself.
What are you doing this Spring? Are you making any life changes?
