Verizon FIOS Play Like a Girl

I have two daughters that play a variety of sports but their main love is soccer. Both of my girls really love soccer. They play year round with the exception of a few months in the summer. 

In order to learn more about soccer, we watch a lot of videos of soccer players online. I didn't have this as an option growing up although I played soccer and many other sports as well. But I did get to watch it whenever it was on television. 

Playing sports have given my daughters a ton of confidence. My youngest child has struggled with confidence for years. She is introverted so when she plays sports, she tends not to speak up too much. Well this year she had a coach who recognized that and really worked hard to bring her out of her shell. 

I have seen my youngest daughter come out of her shell completely out of her shell this season. When she was named Team Captain, you couldn't hold back the smile and she took that job seriously. She played harder and made certain that everyone else on her team had what they needed to be good players as well. She went above and beyond all season. 

Both of my daughters are fierce and empowered. Sports helps them with that. I am so proud of them and honestly, it wouldn't matter whether they were boys or girls. I just want my kids to try and to be part of a team.
