We are a family that has a lot of laundry. When I say a lot, I meant that there are always baskets of laundry waiting around to be washed, dried and put away. At every moment of every single day. With six of us in this house, two working parents and three very active kids, it seems like there is never enough time to get the laundry done. There is DEFINITELY not enough time to wash it twice so the detergent we use needs to be good and powerful so we use Tide Pods.
Tide Pods are easy to use and effective. These small but powerful pods make laundry easier for you with no measuring or guesswork required. Tide Pods also have the combined benefits of detergent + stain remover + brightener giving you 6X the cleaning power of those other detergents. For us, there really is not a reason to use anything else.
With laundry detergent, stain remover and brightener, you just know these things have to be good. Tide Pods are so easy to use. These small but powerful detergent pods really pack a punch. Just throw them in the washer and they do all of the work. Our clothes come out cleaner than other detergents. They also look great and smell amazing! They are so easy to use and honestly clean our laundry well.
Each fall there are certain things that we have to do in our home. First, we have to go through all of the kids clothes in preparation for school to see what fits and what doesn't fit. After trying everything on, the items that fit go back into their closets or drawers. Everything else get washed for consignment or to be donated. Each closet also gets cleaned. We clean the walls and the shelves plus vacuum the carpet so the place feels new.
We also bring out all our Halloween, fall and Christmas decorations. We go through them to make certain everything is working, make any repairs if needed and get rid of whatever is not in good shape. Fall and Halloween decor then gets put out around the house and in our yard. Christmas decor gets stored again for the upcoming season.
Next as a family, we take care of the lawn. This means aerating, putting down new grass seeds where needed, trimming bushes, raking leaves and just general maintenance of the lawn. We even plant some pretty flowers that look great for several months. We make certain that our lawn is just as ready for fall as we are.
Finally we go through our pantry and refrigerator. Anything that is out of date or just doesn't look good gets thrown away. Items get consolidated because with our kids, you never know when you are going to find a few empty boxes sitting on the shelf (pretty sure the husband does this as well). We donate any food that we have too much of (usually this means canned foods) and we give the fridge plus the pantry a good scrubbing.
