Have you ever had a missed connection? Something that you just knew was meant to be?
My birthday was last week and I had a pretty full day. I went out to lunch with a few friends and as we were leaving the host was calling a name out for a table. Had I turned around, I would have seen that it was my college advisor. I saw her post on Facebook about her luncheon that day.
That night we went to dinner with my children. At the last minute we switched restaurants and decided to go somewhere we hadn't been in almost a year. The place where were intending to go was visited that night by a friend that I hadn't seen in years. π
The place we did visit was wonderful. The next day I found out that my mother-in-law had been there at the exact same time having dinner with her husband at the bar. We walked right past them.
All of these missed connections in one day (on my birthday no less) was just unbelievable. It was the combination of these events that made me laugh out loud the first time I saw this new trailer from Sears called Connecting Flights (and check out the conversation on Twitter using the #ConnectingFlights hashtag):
This is a sponsored post, I am a Sears blogger, though all opinions are my own.
So uncanny right? It is like if you did not read it on FB it would have been better but knowing it and missing keeps you wondering what if you turned around.
OMG, what luck! Kinda funny though how things go in life sometimes π still sounds like you had a good birthday day anyway π
