Reindeer Donettes Holiday Pops
We are back again with a fun project / craft / recipe idea that we had so much fun with it. We have made these adorable Reindeer donettes Christmas Cake Pops several times and they are always a hit with the kids. We hope that this Reindeer Donettes Holiday Pops post inspires you.
Reindeer Donettes Holiday Pops
These holiday donut pops were really fun to make and the kids were so excited to see them. They have requested them at least five more times between now and Christmas. The best is that they can help us make them and package them up.
Lay all of your ingredients along with a silicon baking sheet to lay completed reindeer on.
Begin with one of the donettes and curl your hand around it covering the outside.Your hand should be making the letter C.
Put the cake pop stick in and push to the center. Curling around will help keep the integrity of the donut.
Take the red DOT and put it into the donut rounded side into the center.
Now break the pretzels apart. The best way we found was to try to break them into 1/4 and 3/4 pieces using the larger piece as one antler. Make two antlers this way.
Slowly push antlers in the top of the donuts in a way that goes with the eyes (make it look ears or antennae.
Using a small bit of the sticky part inside the DOT, attach the eyes to the top of the donut. We used a small but of frosting to affix the eyes.
Wrap or store. Enjoy for up to two days.
