I am someone who doesn't really make resolutions each year at the new year. Instead I choose to set goals. To me, I sometimes need to go month to month rather than achieve a goal where a resolution for an entire year seems very daunting.
So I have these goals for this year. One of them is definitely to eat better. I want to make positive choices and eat the things that I need to fuel my body.
I have a goal of drinking 8 glasses of water per day for the month of January. Next month I will make it 9 if I meet this goal in January.
Another goal is to walk every day. I want to walk around the neighborhood, at the gym and in general be more active. Next month I will set a longer walking goal of maybe 30 minutes per day.
Finally, I want to make better choices when it comes to eating. Options such as Kashi’s Crunchy Granola & Seed Bars are one of my snack options during the new year. Have you tried them yet?
The new Kashi Crunchy Granola and Seed Bars deliver a blend of progressive and unique ingredients, including chia seeds, flax and quinoa. The Crunchy Granola and Seed Bars come in two flavors – Honey Oat Flax and Chocolate Chip Chia.
The Chocolate Chip Chia Crunchy Granola and Seed Bars deliver 320mg of ALA omega 3’s, 3g fiber and 23g whole grains and the Honey Oat Flax Crunchy Granola and Seed Bars deliver 320mg of ALA omega 3’s, 3g fiber and 25g whole grains.
My favorite of the two was the Chocolate Chip Chia flavor of the Crunchy Granola & Seed Bars. They were chocolatey and had a big crunch. This means when I eat a bar and drink a glass of water, I have a filling snack that keeps me satisfied for hours.
My daughter loves the Honey Oat Flax flavor. I liked it as well. I love how the flavor of the oats really stands out when you eat it.
