Ring in the 4th of July when you create this patriotic burlap bunting banner. A fun craft for an adult or easy enough for a child, this patriotic bunting banner is the perfect holiday décor piece. Take a look and see how we created one in just minutes. We hope that you love this Patriotic Burlap Bunting Banner.
We found the burlap used in this sample project for around $4 at our local craft store. Your local craft store may also have something similar. Look for burlap ribbon that has wire edges as it will look cleaner and be easier to work with.
1. Begin by cutting the burlap ribbon into 3-4 inch sections.
2. At the bottom of each section, cut out a triangle. This will give it the vintage flare of the embellished edges, just like old carnival or fair banners use to have.
3. Apply some hot glue (do not use regular craft glue as it is not strong enough for the burlap) to the top of each section.
4. Press the ribbon or twine to the glue and hold until dry. Repeat as needed.
Once you have repeated this process and the banner is the length of your choice, you can display it. You can hang it indoors, or even spray it with waterproof spray to enjoy it out on a patio or deck. Give this easy and fun patriotic burlap bunting banner a try. It is a great way to get your home full of patriotic color and charm for less. We hope that you are inspired this Patriotic Burlap Bunting Banner. Happy crafting!
