How to Use Face Moisturizer Having a proper skincare is so important for your future. That's right, taking care of your skin when you are young is the most important time because it preps...
There is something that happens to me every single day and I have dealt with it for more than 20 years. I deal with rosacea. It is annoying, sometimes embarrassing and almost ever present in the summer especially. I hate it.
Rosacea also tends to look more prevalent when I drink wine. Any kind of wine and after just half of a glass. Rosacea is just something that I have to live with and deal with as best as I can.
Did you know that rosacea affects an estimated 16 million Americans?
Did you know that more women have rosacea than men?
Now there is Mirvaso®. I was interested to learn more about Mirvaso® and how I can break up with my makeup. I am someone who wants to stop stop concealing and start healing. I believe that Mirvaso® could help me do it.
Because covering up redness can be frustrating and costly, there is now Mirvaso® (brimonidine) Topical Gel, 0.33%* Mirvaso® is the first and only gel specifically developed and proven to reduce the persistent facial redness of rosacea. I need this.
Mirvaso® (brimonidine) topical gel, 0.33% is an alpha adrenergic agonist indicated for the topical treatment of persistent (nontransient) facial erythema of rosacea in adults 18 years of age or older. It is made by Galderma Laboratories, L.P.
The most common symptom of rosacea is persistent facial redness. Dilated facial blood vessels increase blood flow to the skin and cause the face to look red. This is most definitely me.
24% of rosacea sufferers say that redness was their first symptom of rosacea <<< ME ALSO!
I haven't really sought treatment for rosacea before because I honestly wasn't sure that much could be done about it but facial redness can be treated. I am someone who has been covering up facial redness for years by just adding more and more makeup. A lot of people do this. And I do it a lot.
In fact, over 4 in 5 or 82% of all rosacea sufferers have used cosmetics to cover up redness.
I use makeup and I even have a male friend who uses powder to cover his up.
