Top Beauty Picks
May has been fantastic for me because it has been filled with fun times, great weather, and a lot of new and old beauty products. Although not all of these products are new, they're some of my favorite products that I've been using regularly this month. I thought I would share with all of you what they were.
1. Wet n Wild Face Trio in Sunset Junction
The
Wet n Wild Face Trio in Sunset Junction is to die for. I purchased it about half way through last month and I have been using it NONSTOP since I got it. love that it provides my face products in all one. It contains a bronzer, blush, a highlight! All are amazing quality and I love it for this warm weather looks.
2. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
I love this
Maybelline New York Fit Me Concealer because it not only a great coverage concealer but it also provides a highlight for the face. This has always been a staple in my makeup collection, but I've been trying out others in the past few months but recently this has been my favorite once again.
3. e.l.f. Makeup Mist and Set
This
e.l.f. Makeup Mist and Set is one of my favorite setting sprays. It is so refreshing, great for not only setting makeup but also great for a hot day out, a good refresher for your face. It contains Aloe, Cucumber, Green Tea, and Vitamins A, C, & E. It's amazing and the best part is, it's only $3 so it's an amazing bargain.
4. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
This
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion is a new product that I just purchased this month and I absolutely fell in love with. I never used to prime my eyes because once I tried a cheap one from the drugstore and it did nothing for me. But when I tried this primer from Urban Decay, it changed my makeup routine. This will forever change my makeup routine and I will definitely be repurchasing.
5. Urban Decay Naked Palette
Another new product is the
Urban Decay Naked Palette that I've tried this month and definitely loved. This product has always been raved about among beauty lovers alike, but I've never brought myself to pay the $54 it takes to purchase it. Finally, I bit the bullet and bought it. I am so happy I did. It was definitely worth it and I will definitely be splurging on more high end makeup.
6. Forever Blonde Dramatic Repair from Paul Mitchell
I thought I would include a hair product in my monthly favorites. The Forever Blonde Dramatic Repair from Paul Mitchell has been a long time favorite of mine but there are so many new products these days that I kinda neglected it for a bit. I've recently rediscovered it and I forgot how much I truly love it. It makes my hair feel amazing after just one use. It says it is made for blondes, but trust me anyone can use it! It is a bit strong so I wouldn't recommend using it everyday, just a couple times a week. On top of all of it's amazing benefits, it smells amazing, like candy. Definitely a must have for me.
7. LA Girl Glazed Lip Paint
The
LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints are so amazing! They are extremely pigmented, they're more like a liquid lipstick than a lip gloss. The consistency is great and they last all day. They smell like mint and they have a variety of colors so they fit everyone's looks.
Overall, I have gotten to try a lot of new makeup products this month as well as rediscover my love for some older ones that I had forgotten about. I hope you guys enjoy this and maybe go out and grab some of these products and try them if you haven't already.

I just went out last week and bought some new makeup. I have never used a setting spray. Maybe I should try it.
What a way to describe Disney Nightlife. I also love all the beauty / make up tip and products display. i use a few of them already, (the brands).
Those are some great picks! I don’t wear as much make-up as I did back in the olden days 🙂 But when I go out, I do use at least eyeliner and mascara.
So many choices! I’d be totally overwhelmed by makeup if I were a woman, I think.
I love good make up, but hate the trial and error of it all! Thanks so much for breaking it down for me!
These are great picks. That Naked palette sure is expensive but it sounds like it was well worth it.
I’ve been using that Urban Decay Naked Palette for a while and I love it. I also have the small one – the Naked2 Basics. It’s ideal to take on trips and vacations because it’s so small. Love all your makeup picks!
These look like some really great products! I would love to try out a few of these for myself.
All of these products sound awesome. I’m really interested in the hair care shampoo for blondes. I’m sure my hair could use a pick me up.
These are all awesome makeup picks! Love your options. I can’t wait to test some of these myself.
So many great items. I really want to try the naked pallettes, I love the colors of them they are all what I wear when I even do wear make up and I’ve heard how amazing they are!
I don’t wear makeup not unless it’s called for like a wedding or gala. I’m fine with lipstick and lip gloss and I like the looks of that lip paint. I’ve never had a liquid lipstick.
There’s a lot of great stuff in there. My daughter will love this.
Those are all nice but I would like to try the concealer. That would be nice to hide imperfections.
I need to buy the Naked Palette. I’ve been eyeing it up for months, I don’t know why I’m holding back!
I don’t wear very much makeup so I will share these products with my daughter. She wears makeup on a daily basis.
Hmm… don’t laugh, but what is a eyeshadow primer. I’ve never heard of one or used one before.
For the most part I think when it comes to makeup you get what you paid for. But, Wet n Wild is great and inexpensive.
