Located on the first six floors of the former R.J. Reynolds building is the Kimpton Cardinal Hotel in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Builders finished the building in 1923. The building has 21 floors. The charm of this hotel starts at its Art Deco entryway. The grand lobby has marble floors and extremely strong geometric lines. There are many things to do within walking distance of this hotel. There are numerous nearby art galleries to explore. Stop in at Fourth and Trade to find home decor created by local artist. Explore Reynolda Mile located about three miles away to get a taste of local culture. About four miles to the north is Wake Forest College.
