Week 3 in the I Heart Omron Fitness Challenge
So week 3 just ended. I am still getting over this sickness thing but feeling much better. I have been able to exercise a little more last week. I lost 2.8 pounds last week....
I really love a good 5K. I have been doing them with my family for years and we enjoy doing them together. They are a great way to get outside in the fresh air and get some exercise plus I love bonding with my kids over fitness related things. This year, I am excited to announce that we are doing the Warrior Dash as a family. We hope that you love this Join the Warrior Dash Obstacle Course Race #WarriorDashNation #WarriorWeek post.
Keeping our New Year's resolution to do at least one 5K per month as a family is very important. We love doing healthy things as a family and our chances for success are much better when we do it together. The Warrior Dash looks like so much fun. All three kids and my husband are beyond excited to do the Atlanta Warrior Dash in April.
Warrior Dash is the OG Obstacle Course Race that gets better every year. This 5K race & all-day festival celebrating its 10th year has been enjoyed by over 3 million participants. This get dirty festival can be started and finished by anyone 10 or older. The Warrior Dash is definitely a fun and healthy way to get fit. You'll get to join Warrior Nation.
Run your way, Warrior Nation. Warrior Nation is the diverse crew of athletes and couch potatoes, families and weekend warriors, run-for-a-cause and veteran racers all united by the Warrior Creed and the love of a good time.
The Warrior Dash has revamped some favorite features for 2019. There are three distances participants can choose from at select locations. You'll find all-new, incentive obstacles that they have designed for maximum fun. Warrior Dash participants can choose the classic 5K, push themselves a little more with the challenging 10K or they can try the obstacle-packed 1-mile.
There are 17 obstacles in the Warrior Dash. Each unique Warrior Dash course features new obstacles plus fun variations on signature obstacles like:
2019 Warrior Dash features the first ever zip-line obstacle (I am excited about this one), Super Fly and the 3-story El Capitan.
Party after the Warrior Dash at this FREE (for everyone) all-day festival featuring a live DJ, local beers and restaurants plus more. I love that they make it into a day long event. We can't wait to participate in the family fun. Join the fun during the festival by:
Everyone gets in free to cheer you on, even non-racers and spectators.
Anyone 10 and older can participate in the Warrior Dash. For those under 10, they can join the fun at the fair-life Kids Fun Zone featuring mini obstacles and tons of mud.
