Even though we are still hitting the 90's on many days this summer, as we head into fall, I just know that they cold weather is coming. Now is the time we need to make certain our furnace is fully functional and that everything is working just as it should. We don't want to get caught in the middle of the winter without a functioning furnace.
In order to properly take care of our HVAC, there are some maintenance items that are required each year to keep everything fully functioning. We change the filters but I know that there are other things that we need to do as well. Thankfully, Sears has us covered.

I am guilty of not changing my filters very often in my AC’s. I need to get on that.
Speaking of HVACS, I need one to come to my home and possibly install a new boiler. We just discovered our boiler is broken in our home.
We need to get our heater serviced before we use it this fall. We also need to change our filters too. Thanks for the reminders!

I didn’t know that the location of the thermostat had such an effect on the HVAC. We keep our system maintained year round.

I guarantee we don’t change our filters nearly enough. I also erroneously thought shutting it off would save money. Guess I’ve got a lot to learn.
Living in Phoenix, we use our Air Conditioner for a solid six months out of the year. These are great tips to keep it well maintained and working during those hot hot summers!
