P. King Duckling NOW on Netflix
“What do you call a pig who does Karate? A pork chop!” This P. King Duckling NOW on Netflix post in sponsored. P. King Duckling NOW on Netflix P. King Duckling, the popular children's show,...
The Halloween season is one of my most favorite times of the year. We spend months picking out costumes and decor. We then spend days decorating our house and yard. Then we spend countless hours carving pumpkins. We take our Halloween seriously around here.
I remember watching my first horror film as a kid. I was so scared that I didn't sleep at all that night. I knew that I wasn't supposed to be watching it. In fact, my mother specifically told me not to and that it would give me nightmares. I thought that I knew better so while our babysitter was watching a scary movie, I sat on the steps outside my room and watched the entire thing along with her although she never knew that I was watching. Her screams were MUCH louder than mine. I have never forgotten watching The Exorcist and The Shining as an 11-year-old kid. These days I am just as fascinated by what goes on behind the scenes in movies as well as what is in front of the camera.
Speaking of Halloween, I should mention that my son and husband are adrenaline junkies who love the thrill that visiting a haunted house brings and they tend to go to several each year here in the Atlanta area. Haunted houses, corn mazes at night, frightful hayrides, and truly scary movies – there’s just something about being a little bit afraid that makes you feel alive. They can't get scared enough.

I absolutely love scary movies and Halloween is the perfect time to binge on them!!
My husband and son would both enjoy these movies. I am a wimp and don’t do the horror flicks.
I’m not all that brave when it comes to scary movies so I’ve seen very few. This year is my year!
Horror movies are one of my favorite parts of the Halloween season. I need to check our channel lineup to make sure we get Reelz since so many of these are absolute musts.
I am not really into scary movies. They give me nightmares. However, I would love to see the behind the scenes and learn more about the tricks!
So many great horror films! There’s nothing like scary movies to pump you up for Halloween!
I see some great movie nights with the hubby in my future. Thanks for the suggestions. I like Silence of the Lambs… will have to check out some of the others.
I am a fan and then I’m not.. I get a little scared. But some of the classics you just have to watch over and over.
That is a heck of a scary movie list. Behind the scenes sounds interesting. Love seeing how movies come together.
I’m not a big fan of being scared. This does sound like a good collection of scary movies thougth. I would maybe watch one or two of them, during the day, with all of the lights on.
I will confess I’ve lost my chops for true horror movies. I felt like when I was a kid they were scary from the suspense. Nowadays it’s all slasher gore. The Silence of the Lambs was one creepy movie. Fava beans and chianti will never be the same for me!
We will definitely be checking some out. Love watching scary movies this month!
Eek, I can’t do it! I’m so bad with horrors…lol, I run away from them as fast as I can.
I don’t have cable so I can’t check out Reelz, but I love Halloween just because they show all the great movies. I love scary movies!
My husband and oldest love scary movies so I’ll have to pass this on to them. I’m too much of a chicken, even for movies so I pass. but I know they’ll love this!
Wow, I’m going to tell my husband about this movie line up! He loves a god horror flick during this time of year
So many great options for a scary movie night! We just watched Silence of the Lambs a few nights ago.
OK the truth! I had to scroll quick because I was afraid of what scary pictures would be here. I don’t do any scary movies at all even on Halloween. There are some seasonal ones that I like but nothing that isn’t for for a grade school kid LMAO
Whew, not me, I can’t do it. I am the world’s biggest chicken.
I just watched the Amityville one last night. I was in bed with the lights out watching it but had to get up and turn the lights on, it was scary!
