Did you know that 61% of dads say the media portrays them negatively?
Did you also know that an overwhelming majority of dads (94%) prioritize their families over their careers? In fact, my husband just left his full time job about six months ago to focus on his family. Our entire family dynamic has shifted and our children have never been happier. We made a great choice.
Getting the chance to be a full time father was the perfect choice for my husband and our family. Watching him enjoy his family and his life more and more every day is best reward for all of us. My husband was born to be a father and he cherishes each one of our three children.
He treats his girls like princesses and is involved in all things sports for all three kids. He shares Scouting with our son. He is getting to be the father he always wanted to be. He is doing a great job at it.
This Father's Day and indeed all year long Dove Men+Care is committed to portraying how real men and dads care. As a brand committed to portraying how real men care, the short film spotlights the expanding and often unrecognized ways dads care for their children featuring #RealDadMoments between children and their fathers, most of which are regrettably absent from media depictions of dads today.
Dads know that more care is better (from caring for their families to caring for their skin). Dove Men+Care has a full line of grooming products specifically designed to care for men’s skin, face, hair and underarms.
Dove Men+Care celebrates men who understand that more care is better with products using Dove's signature 1⁄4 moisturizing cream to boost the skin’s natural moisture barrier, which works to replenish moisture in the skin’s outer surface layer.
Dove Men+Care Body Wash is clinically proven to fight dry skin better than regular men’s body wash. Formulated with ultra-light MICROMOISTURE technology, a unique gel technology, that activates on skin during lather to guard against discomfort. Dove Men+Care Body Bar is clinically proven to fight dry skin better than ordinary bar soap.
This short film is grounded in NEW research from Dove Men+Care and features real dads with their kids.

My dad is a wonderful father because he spends all his time outside of work with his children. He is forgiving, kind and patient and always treats us with great love.
A teacher I had in HS is a great dad. He always emphasizes “I can” instead of “I can’t”. His girls now have a great can-do attitude. 🙂

One of my favorite memories was dancing on my dads shoes as a little girl. As a teen I was waiting for a date to show up and my dad and I began dancing in the kitchen to the radio. In all honesty, I wanted to tell the date maybe another night, I’m having too much fun with my dad (and you don’t dance:)
My husband is a super-involved dad. He picks our daughter up from after-school care every day since I work later than he does. He also coaches her soccer team.
My dad is the best because he is always there to help whenever I need him. He also loves his grandchildren and is always playing with them.
My husband is such an incredible dad. He has been hands-on every minute since the kids were born. He has taken days off for field trips, stayed up late with sick kids, etc. He’s incredible.
I think my brother is an amazing dad. He spends every available moment he has with his kids and has incredible patience.

Thank you!
It sounds like your husband is an awesome dad! Your kids are very lucky to have him!
Your hubby sounds amazing..and I’ve seen him in action!
My hubby is a great father to our girls. He is mostly very patient with them and really loves them!
My husband and my dad are both special. My husband works 70+ hours per week at a very stressful job but he always comes home early enough to spend quality time with our son before bedtime. My dad is naturally a very introverted person, but he shows that he cares in his own way – he is supportive of my choices even though we have different points of view.
My hubs is super great with our kids he does anything and everything for them.I would be lost without him.
My Husband is the special day in my life and he shows our children he cares by constantly striving to overcome issues to succeed and be the best Father he can be.
My dad! he’s always doing the best he can
My husband is such a good father. I love the Dove MenCare products for him, and I adore the Dove campaigns that celebrate Dads.
It bothers me how negatively dads are portrayed. My husband is a great dad. He spends time with our kids, helps (almost) as much as I do, coaches their teams, is really there for them.
Great giveaway! I agree with the statistic at the top! I think dads often are portrayed as lazy or ignorant parents!
My husband usually take them out on an outing during the weekend to give me a break, because I have them all week. He usually takes them to the movies, park, or the movies. It really helps my stress level and I am such a more relaxed person.
So excited to celebrate this Father’s Day. Looks like a great gift package.
Love all Dove products. These would be a great gift.
my dad is an amazing man.. super hard working, very laid back and loves to love.. he deserves to win this and more!
Dad’s go so unrecognized and disrespected in our society. Yay for Dove for stepping up to the plate!
My husband is an amazing Dad. He is always wanting to create special memories for our kids. I love this campaign!
My daughter’s father is a wonderful dad. He is loving, supportive, and her best friend. I couldn’t ask for a better role model for our little one.
I agree that dads get the short end of the stick in the media usually. I’m surprised by the 97% statistic though. That seems pretty high with so many fatherless children in the US.
My husband is the special dad in my life everyday. I love the way Dove is honoring dads this season!
That picture of him with the girls? ADORABLE! I can’t wait until our daughter gets old enough for pictures like this!
I am so glad that they are highlighting great Dads! The negative seems to always be what people remember and point out.
Your hubs sounds like a total keeper, Stacie! I love that Dove is celebrating dads like this!
Dads have come a long, long way since I was raising kids. They get so much more involved in the kids lives and I think that is wonderful
You sound very lucky indeed! I’m really digging the route Dove is taking with all of their advertising campaigns lately!
This generation of dads definitely play a more active role in their children’s lives. I love this campaign from Dove.
My husband does an amazing job taking care of our newborn when he gets off work.
I love this campaign from Dove. I have such amazing memories with my dad. The most recent is dancing with him at my wedding a few weeks ago 🙂
My daddy is a wonderful man. He was raised not by his own parents but by Christian City. He is a faith filled man that has shown me that he loves me unconditionally. He has taught me the value of perseverance and not to let you circumstances define you or control you! He has taught me to not bail on family. To this day, my daddy who is now 64, will stop what he is doing to take care of me. He brings me flowers when I am sick. He even drives me to downtown Atlanta to see movie premieres. I am his sweetpea and I am so thankful that I was blessed with him as my daddy!
Awww – what a sweet campaign! My husband is a great father and I’m so lucky!
I agree, dads dont get enough cred in the media! It’s all about the moms but dads are such a vital part of that relationship. I always said I was lucky to have an amazing father and smart enough to marry a man who would be one.
My youngest is gettting my husband to play with her all the time, it’s pretty obvious who’s her favorite playmate. This campaign is really sweet and shows how important dad are to our families!

My Dad shows me he cares by always being there. When I’m going through a hard time, he calls me everytime and drops by to visit me more often than usual.
My husband is the special dad in our lives. He works so hard to provide a good life for his children and family and hardly ever complains. Even when he is exhausted from work he still makes time for his kids and he’s a great listener. Overall, he is a wonderful man. Our children love him very much and so do I. We are very happy and very grateful to have him in our lives.
My hubs is a lot like his dad. He is playful, tender and loving with our girls.
Oh my gosh! That princess picture is adorable!! I love that video by Dove!
My husband definitely puts his family before his career. Our daughter had a medical emergency on Friday and he left work within minutes to go to the hospital where she was. I love that about him. 🙂
It’s awesome your hubby is there for your daughters. Nice of Dove to recognize dads in this way.

Fathers are important. Children need to have fathers, good fathers in their lives.
My husband and my dad are completely different. Sometimes it is hard to see that the same day is honored to them. They both have different approaches in parenting.
My husband is really great about taking time to teach our kids things. Thanks for the chance to win!
