I remember watching Sleeping Beauty as a child. I loved the movie and I really loved the characters as well. In fact, growing up we used to watch Disney movies together as a family and Sleeping Beauty was always one of our favorites.
Since I have always loved all things Disney, I was excited to share that with my children as well. What I especially love about Sleeping Beauty is the story. I love the character of Aurora and I love that this is the movie that encompassed the true Disney spirit that would become one of the most classic of all fairytales. I also kind of like the fact that she finds out her beloved is also her betrothed. I think that the moral of the story is that it ok to dream and even better to follow those dreams.
We have a family movie night every Friday night and each child takes turns picking the movie. Both of my daughter’s tend to pick Sleeping Beauty at least once every couple of months. I cannot wait for them to see the movie again after October 7th all things princesses so this movie is one of their favorites.

Sleeping Beauty was always one of my favorite Disney movies. I’m glad to see it out of the vault.
I LOVED this as a child. I even had a little child’s record with a storybook that I could listen to by myself. I can’t wait to share this with my little girls! 🙂
I don’t know of anyone that doesn’t love Sleeping Beauty. I have 2 young granddaughters who will love it too.
It has been so long since I’ve seen this movie. I definitely need to refresh myself with it once it’s released!

Sleeping beauty is my daughter, Jasmine’s, favorite movie. That wasn’t the plan when I named her Jasmine though, lol. She has a beautiful snow globe that plays music from the movie and she would beg me to sing it with it every night when she was a toddler. Even today, it is one of her fondest memories from being little.
I can’t wait to pick up Sleeping Beauty on Bluray. I hope they still have it available for purchase for Christmas.

I liked Sleeping Beauty but I have to admit, I loved the Malifcant (sp) update this year. It did show the power of true love. Love is a great key to unlock everything.
Disney really knows how to make money and stay marketable. Disney will always reintroduce themselves to the younger generation I love it!
