With the start of school, our family life has been a little crazy. Our kids go to two different schools and they all have a variety of activities that they are involved in. Each week there is swim team, ballet, jazz, soccer, Scouts and a few other activities that I am probably forgetting about.

Some days my husband and I don't see each other until 8 pm because we are constantly driving the kids around. Although we have a commitment to eat dinner together every single night as a family, that doesn't always happen like we would like it to happen.

What is missing are those moments where we really get to connect as a family. I miss our family during the week sometimes because we are so incredibly busy. Often I just want to hang out with my kids and husband so we can watch a movie or play some games (we like Uno and Jenga). School started about six weeks ago and we already need to re-connect as a family.
