Chocolate Candy Corn Rice Krispies Treats

I am a lover of all things chocolate and with Halloween coming up, I am always looking for fun things to make out of chocolate that are also festive but look amazing. I love food that can really double as decor and be eaten as well. Lots of Halloween food falls into this category which is one of the reasons I love the holiday so much. Chocolate Candy Corn Rice Krispies Treats

Ingredients

• 3 tablespoons butter
• 1½ cups candy corn
• 6 cups chocolate Rice Krispies
• 6 cups marshmallows
• 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions

1. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray and set aside.
2. In a large saucepan, over low heat, melt butter. Once melted, add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in Chocolate Rice Krispies. Mix until well coated, then stir in 1 cup of candy corn.
3. Pour the mixture into the 9 x 13 pan. Spread evenly and firmly, making sure to fill all corners. Let cool.
4. In a double boiler, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips. With a spatula, scoop the melted chocolate on top of the cooling Chocolate Rice Krispy mixture. Spread the chocolate evenly across the top. Sprinkle remaining candy corn across the top. Let bars cool completely, about 3-4 hours. You could also put in the refrigerator for an hour to speed up the cooling time.
5. Cut bars after completely cool. Enjoy!
