Calling all Junior Scientists, math junkies and those who love to experiment ! The Google Science Fair is now open. Lovers of science and technology, ages 13-18 can compete for internships and scholarships.
Google is searching around the world for the smartest and most prolific young scientists today. Students from ages 13-18 can enter as a single entrant or work together with teams of two or three members.
Everyone who enters will do so via the Google site which is where they will showcase their project.
ABOUT GOOGLE SCIENCE FAIR SUBMISSIONS
There are some great prizes being offered to 3 final winners of three categories (ages 13-14, 15-16 & 17-18) and one Grand Prize winner will receive:
a 1o-Day National Geographic Expedition to the Galapagos Islands
a $50,000 scholarship
and several other once-in-a-lifetime prizes.
There is even a Peoples Choice Award!
All participants MUST enter and complete their Google site by April 8, 2011.

Goodness knows search engines have changed the way people find information- so much quicker and easier.
Google has it all, and it has really brought the owrld to people’s fingertips.
Thanks for this post. My kiddos are a bit young for this, but since my husbands graduate degree is in science I am sure one of them will enter a contest like this at some point.
