Belk Top Valentine’s Day Picks

This Valentine's Day I am collaborating with Belk. If there is one place that I love to consistently shop in the south, it is Belk.

Belk has a small town feel with things you would expect to find in larger cities as well. That is huge part of Belk's appeal to me. In fact, it is not unusual that several generations wouldn't shop there and often times together. Shopping was something that I did growing up both with my mother and my grandmother.I grew up shopping and to this day I still enjoy shopping.

What I especially love about shopping at Belk is the variety available throughout the store. You will find fashion for several generations along with perfumes and more. You will also find everything from handbags, jewelry and watches to bed, bath and home.

This season it is all about gift giving. I love picking out the perfect item for every person in my life. I love seeing the expression on their faces when they open their gifts and overall, I consider myself a pretty good gift giver.

However as I have shared in the past, I am not that easy to buy for. I keep a lot of stuff in my head and don't always communicate that very well. Putting together a wish like this gives my husband an easy way to shop yet still pick something out for me. I still love a good surprise.

So back to that collaboration. I have shopped at Belk for more than 20 years and they came to me with the chance to work with them this year around Valentine's Day. This fun project will include curating a few gift guides with Belk. I am going to put some things together that are on my own wishlist plus share my ideas for what I would give the people in my life.

Heart jewelry is in style all year round. These double hearts are beautiful and small yet pretty enough to wear everyday.

My girls love butterflies and when shopping for gifts, I try to really personalize what I purchase. This necklace would be perfect for my youngest daughter.

My oldest daughter has been wanting a nice bracelet. You know something not made from rubber or twine. This is a perfect first bracelet for any girl.

As long as I am getting cashmere, I might as well get my husband a nice cashmere sweater to wear. This sweater is a dark color and will look good on most guys.
