Who doesn't love Rice Krispies Treats? I remember making them as a kid and how much we loved them. So of course this was a super fun tradition to share with my own children. They are easy to make, cheap and these rice cereal treats are so incredibly versatile that you see them used in baking everywhere. You can build with Rice Krispies treats like Buddy from Carlos Bakery. What is even better is when the treats are this cute and themed for Halloween. These cool and spooky bats are perfect for that Halloween class party, to give out to Trick or Treaters or just to make for Halloween. They are sure to be a hit with kids and parents. Directions

  1. Grease a 8×8 pan or line with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a medium pan, melt butter on low.
  3. Once butter is melted, stir in the entire bag of the mini marshmallows.
  4. Stir until all of the marshmallows are melted.
  5. Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until everything is completely mixed together. It will be very sticky.
  6. Using a plastic spatula, pour mixture into the pan and even out.
  7. Let sit for 15-20 minutes to harden.
  8. Using the bat cookie cutter, cut Rice Krispies treats.
  9. Outline with the black icing gel and then fill in.
  10. Store in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
