Put it on toast with a little salt and pepper or bacon and tomatoes, add it diced up into eggs or even blend it into a smoothie. Avocados are a great source of protein with 4 grams per fruit (that's right, not a vegetable) making it the highest protein fruit around.   • 2 fully ripened avocados; halved, pitted & peeled
  • sea salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 2 slices of Dave's Killer sprouted bread, toasted
  • 4-6  slices bacon, cooked and halved
  • 2 tablespoons chopped tomato
  • eggs, if desired

Avocado Toast Recipe


  1. In a bowl, coarsely mash avocado with a fork; season with salt and pepper to taste. Slice the second avocado long ways.
  2. Divide avocado on toast and spread to cover; cut each slice in half or leave whole.
  3. If desired, tuck a piece of bacon into avocado on each toast half or slice tomato over top and serve.
