New Year, New You
I have a confession to make. I love reality television. Not the competitive reality tv but the stuff about people's lives. I watch tons of reality shows. Shows about businesses. Shows about families. Shows...
This post is sponsored by REELZ; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
This Saturday, August 8, I will be watching Autopsy’s Robin Williams Special on the REELZ Channel.
There was a time as kid where I absolutely loved to watch movies. In fact, I preferred movies over television. My children are that way today. They still watch shows on TV but they prefer movies because they love the ongoing story lines and getting to watch something come to an end. I still feel that way about movies although I do binge watch a lot of tv shows as well.
Robin Williams was always one of my favorite actors. I adored him as a comedian and I loved him as a serious actor as well. He was the total package. In fact, it was only one year ago that we lost the amazing comedian and actor Robin Williams at the age of 63. It hardly seems like it could be one year.
From Mork and Mindy to Good Will Hunting, Robin touched many of our hearts, especially mine. I watched him the entire time growing up and well into adulthood. It’s amazing how movies and actors/actresses can have such an effect on us everyday people, but they do. Just like you, we were saddened to hear about the loss of Robin Williams last year. My kids were really saddened to learn about his death because they love the movie Aladdin and they can recognize his voice anywhere.
I was sad about Robin Williams for several reasons. First, the world lost a great actor, comedian and person that day. Second, he must have been hurting so much to commit suicide. To want to end your life is an extremely powerful thing and to do it, means his pain was unbearable. That makes me sad.
I want to invite all Robin Williams lovers to celebrate his life and learn more about his death by joining REELZ for the premier of the Autopsy special on August 8th at 10PM ET/7PM PT.
Series Name: Autopsy
Air Date and Time: August 8th, 10PM ET/7PM PT
