Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs is a topical treatment that kills adult fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks, and repels mosquitoes. How Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs works
The active ingredients in Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs are etofenprox and S-methoprene. Etofenprox is an insecticide that kills adult fleas and ticks on contact. S-methoprene is an insect growth regulator that prevents flea eggs from hatching and kills flea larvae. Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs is available in a 16-ounce bottle and a 32-ounce bottle. It is easy to apply and can be used on dogs of all sizes. Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs contains two main ingredients:
- Etofenprox: This ingredient kills adult fleas and ticks on contact.
- S-methoprene: This ingredient is an insect growth regulator (IGR) that prevents flea eggs from hatching and kills flea larvae.
How to use Adams Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Apply the spray to your dog's fur, starting at the head and working your way back. Be sure to get the spray under your dog's fur, especially on their legs, belly, and chest.
- Avoid getting the spray in your dog's eyes, ears, nose, or mouth.
- Let the spray dry completely before letting your dog play with other animals or go outside.
How long does it last?

We have used Adams Spot On for our golden retriever. I can’t stand the thought of fleas or ticks in our home (he’s an inside dog 90% of the time), so we have to safeguard him from being in any pesky bugs!
Teddy is a cutie pie. I don’t have pets but would love to try Adams to repel mosquitoes in my back yard.

When I lived in OK I used the Adams lawn and garden spray to help battle the flea and tick problem. I swear they multiply in the heat. Now that I am here in MI, the problem isnt near as bad.
