Graduation is quickly approaching! I love this time of year.
I remember my own graduation from high school. What a fun time! And then 10 years later, I graduated from college. Yeah, 10 years. I was on the extended plan.
I worked full time during college, paid for a lot of it on my own and when I finally graduated, it was also with my MBA. I was beyond excited. I threw myself a huge party with about 55-60 of my closest friends.
My graduation was incredibly special. I worked so hard to get there. I had several setbacks. Many times when I really just wanted to quit. Other times when I never thought I would even make it to graduation.
So that day, standing up before my friends and family had a tremendous impact on me. I knew at that moment that I could do anything I set my mind to. That if I worked hard enough, my dreams were achievable.
