Quick and Delicious: Veetee Rice

We are definitely a foodie family and rice is a large part of what we cook in this family. We tend to cook rice at least 3-4 nights per week because it is such a family favorite. Rice is the perfect canvas for so many of the ideas and creations that come out of our kitchen. On its own, rice is a slightly fragrant simple side and tt is this simplicity that makes rice so versatile. We absolutely love Quick and Delicious: Veetee Rice.

Cook the rice with stock, and it becomes elevated. Add herbs, saffron, and vegetables and it soars giving an amazing taste. Rice is the ultimate food chameleon; it will take whatever flavors you are trying to meld together for a dish and it will help you create some of the tastiest dishes around.

This sticky, subtly flavored rice is grown in Thailand and is ideal for stir fry or even for fried rice. We made crockpot Ginger Chicken and served it over this rice.

Chicken Flavour Rice

This Chicken Flavour Rice was made using only carefully selected ingredients like long grain rice, sweetcorn and red pepper. We picked up a rotisserie chicken from the deli and served it over this rice in a bowl for a delicious and filling meal. This rice is also the perfect accompaniment to our famous grilled BBQ chicken.

Rice Pilaf

This Rice Pilaf seasoned with onion and cooked spices is absolutely perfect on its own or with anything that comes out of our crockpot. My husband made beef stew and instead of adding potatoes, he served it over Rice Pilaf. The kids loved it and asked for him to always make it this way.
