How to deal with Allergy Face ZyrtecHow to deal with Allergy Face

Spring is in the air, which means allergies are on the rise. It is so common during allergy season to wake up with some sort of irritation, puffiness, or allergy reaction to any part of your body, but more specifically our face. This type of irritation is commonly referred to as “allergy face” and it is no fun to deal with, if you have allergies then you know exactly what I mean. Today we are going to be talking about a few tips and tricks for dealing with your unfortunate “allergy face” and you will feel so much better, trust me.

Cold Compress

If you are suffering from puffiness in the face, you can reduce this swelling by adding a cold compress. You can also simply take a cold, wet rag and just lay it over your face for a few minutes. You will feel so refreshed and it should help that swelling to go down so you are back to your normal self.

Hydrate and Calm Skin

Another symptom of “allergy face” is dry patchiness. If you want to get rid of those dry and red patches I would recommend using moisturizer, exfoliating, and hydrating your skin. On top of using that moisturizer to hydrate your skin, it is important that you are drinking plenty of water as well and your skin will be much firmer, hydrated, and moisturized.

This Aveeno Active Naturals Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer is one of the best things that I can use for my face each allergy season.

Cover and Conceal

Sometimes we can just not get rid of that redness right away, it takes time to care for your skin and getting rid of that redness and what are we supposed to do? Well, I would really recommend getting a good concealer to cover up the redness. A good tip would be to get a green toned concealer and it will help to counteract that redness and you will feel much better about the skin you are suffering from right now. I am also using Dermablend Quick Fix Concealer to coverup all of that redness.

Take Zyrtec

One of the best things that I do to combat allergy face is to take my Zyrtec allergy relief tablets. I cannot make it through the season without them! ZYRTEC Allergy Tablets provide 24-hour prescription-strength relief of your worst allergy symptoms of sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, and itching of the nose and throat. ZYRTEC is the #1 allergist recommended brand (among OTC oral antihistamines).

I think that everyone pretty much suffers from some sort of allergies during the Spring season, it's just some have more mild symptoms and others have more severe symptoms. Overall, I hope that these tips help you out if you are suffering from any type of allergy symptoms and especially allergy face.

I was noticing my eyes bothering me today and my face getting itchy. I would like to try these ideas, I stopped myself from rubbing my fists in my eye sockets, but it felt good for a minute, but I know that causes havoc with my allergies.
