Tips for the Perfect Visit to Great Wolf Lodge
Finally as the last post in my three-part series, here are:
Tips for the Perfect Visit to Great Wolf Lodge
-Bring your own towels if at all possible (see review for explanation)
-You should still bring sunscreen because there are some outdoor activities.
-Bring your own food into the water park or least bring your own snacks and beverages. This is allowed and there are many food options within a mile or two of the place.
-The kid food buffet rocks! It is their size and packed with foods kids love. My kids were ecstatic that they were in control of what they ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ate there three times. Make sure to budget this in for your trip. The kids love it.
-Budget for extras like the wands, etc but stick to a souvenir budget or you could go broke.
-Pack lots of snack food. I brought a Tupperware container filled with some of our favorite snacks. We ate a late breakfast most days, snacked on breakfast bars or peanut butter/cheese crackers throughout the day and then ate dinner around 6.
-Get there early in the morning on busy days to stake a claim on chairs in the water park. We put our towels on chairs and made this our central meeting point throughout the day.

Lots of good tip- especially about snacks! I think that is possibly one of the bigger things that is often forgotten in the budget is the higher cost of eating!
