Remembering Happy Times thanks to Colief

As a new mom, I didn't always have an easy time. My first child was born six weeks early and although he was ready to come out, I was not at all prepared.

I was not getting a lot of sleep and all of those hormones were running through my body. Suddenly my new baby was fussy at night and I needed help. He was a fussy and he was crying.

Our first stop was the pediatrician who told us that this is normal. Babies experience colic but I had absolutely no idea what to do.

Armed with info from the pediatrician, I immediately contacted my online community to see what I should do. They were all mothers and I trusted / valued their opinions.

Thankfully I can remember lots and lots of happy times. Here are a few tips that worked for me as a new parent:

1. Take care of yourself as well as your new baby.

2. Don't be afraid to ask for help.

3. Ask your friends for advice.

4. Do what works best for you. Don't let others tell you what to do.

5. Remember that you are the customer of your pediatrician. Don't be afraid to call and ask questions.

ABOUT COLIC

A recent study shows that up to 28% of all infants experience colic which is defined as repeated episodes of excessive and inconsolable crying in an infant that is in otherwise perfect health. Colic usually begins about two weeks after birth and subsides by three or four months of age.

Parents can identify colic using the “rule of threes:”

Unexplained crying in an infant for at least three hours per day,
Three days per week,
For at least three weeks (or more)

While the actual cause of colic is not known, it is believed that some babies have difficulty digesting the lactose in breast milk or infant formula.

ABOUT COLIEF

Colief Infant Drops are ideal to reduce the crying associated with colic because it is clinically-studied to help ease digestion. Colief contains the enzyme lactase, which eases digestion, thereby reducing the lengthy bouts of fussiness and crying that are associated with colic. It's

Colief Infant Drops:
